Served as a double shot as standard in the shop. Our Abda Alchemists calibrate our machine and grinder daily to ensure our Espressos weigh 16g and extract between 25-30 seconds.
Temp: 92-96°C Pressure: High
Grind: Fine 1.5-3
As the name suggests, our Abda Alchemists precisely pour 360ml of water over 25g of your choice of Single Origin coffee, freshly ground to perfection. No pressure and a medium grind produce a lighter flavour. V stands for cone-shaped filters and the 60 represents the sloping angle of the dripper’s sides!

An alternative way to brew a filter coffee, including an element of pressure to produce a stronger coffee with a deeper flavour. Brewed with our Single Origins. Consists of a cylindrical chamber, and a plunger with an airtight silicone seal. Ground coffee beans and water are steeped inside, then pushed through a filter by pressing the plunger down.
Temp: 92°C Pressure: Medium
Grind: Medium 6-7
The cafetière – also known as a French Press – comprises of a heat-proof jug and plunger. Easy to use, it complements both single origin and blends of beans.
The coffee grinds are steeped in the water and separated by plunging to prevent over-extracting your beans.

Cold Brew is essentially coffee brewed with cold water rather than hot! Cold Brewing exchanges time for temperature, taking from 12 to 24 hours to brew .
Here at Abda, we brew our Cold Brew with our Single Origin Beans overnight then filter.
Temp: 1-8°C Pressure: 0 - Gravity Grind: Coarse 14-16
We use Ethiopian Coffee Beans (due to the close proximity of Sudan) brewed on the hob.
Served in an Ethiopian Jabana or Kanaka.
We recommend taking a bite of the date and a sip of the coffee - the sweetness really compliments the coffee!
